Creating a project on a ReinSys powered platform requires that you are a registered member on the platform. Depending on the settings of the platform, creating a project might require that you have a specific user access role.
Navigate to the project creation page on the platform and provide the required information. The handle name is a very important field and it can not be changed afterwards. The value of the handle name may be synonymous to the project name – an alias, sort of. It should not contain any special character.
Once your project has been created you can access it immediately via the URL:
http://[platform domain]/[your handle name]
Click the login link to continue administering your project.
Go to navigation or site map. Expand the Web Administration link and click on registry settings. Make the needed changes and save. If there are files to attach, click on Save and upload button.
When you are done with the changes, click on the Refresh button to effect the changes.

Logos:
- To add a logo to your project, against the logo field, click the browse button and browse to your logo file in your file system. Click Save and upload.
- To align the logo to the right, check the [Align logo to right] box.
- To remove or use the platform logo, check or uncheck the [Use platform logo] box.
- To remove or use your project logo, check or uncheck the [Use logo] box.
Favicon:
- To remove or use the platform favicon, check or uncheck the [Use platform favicon] box.
- To use a custom favicon, browse to the favicon in your file system. Click Save and upload.
There is at least one content block on the project layout, depending on the theme design (layout). This is used to display information such as news and updates on the project layout. A layout content block is based on a content group or type; see managing content types for details about creating content groups/types.
To set the content group/type for a block, go to registry settings, and set the value of the Content Block field as the name or key of the content group.
The Home and Contact Us page are inbuilt. The Home page is created upon creating your website; it can be modified in the Content Manager.

- To create a link to the home page, you can simply create a menu item and set the URL as '/'. Click here for details about creating menu links.
The Contact Us page presents the user with a feedback form. Once it is filled and submitted, the information is sent to you via email and a copy is also saved in the system.
- To activate this feature, create a menu link and set the URL as '/index/feedbacks/contact'. Click here for details about creating menu links.
